Is it too late to say goodbye?

                    Is it too late?

A place we're we've been sent,
A second home they said.
Be at ease we are here they said,
We trusted and stayed.
Time passeth by,
Memories treasured,
Moments cherished,
Remain in the deep.
Walking through the corridor,
I remember the days;
The days of old were we made trouble,
The days that we've laughed too hard,
Now echoes remain,
Silence taken control.
Took it all for granted,
Thought we had time;
But we were wrong.
We forgot "time flies",
Is it too late to say goodbye?
